OFFICIALS' ZONE

We offer free consultations with offices planning to allocate public funds for the construction of skate parks.

As experienced builders and users of skate parks, we know what features a facility should have to be as functional as possible, and we also know the current prices. Only skaters know what skaters need.

LAUNCHED IN 2026: THE “CONCRETE SKATEPARK RENOVATION PROGRAM”

Concrete skateparks, often after several or more than a dozen years of use, require an assessment of the surface condition:

Unevenness, cracks, discolouration, layers of dirt, graffiti and, in some cases, even holes appear.

Steel elements corrode, and the obstacle layout no longer meets current safety requirements. This not only worsens the aesthetics but, above all, increases the risk of injury and reduces riding comfort, which limits ride flow.

In response to these problems, we have developed a comprehensive concrete skatepark renovation program that makes it possible to:

- extend the service life of the existing infrastructure by even more than a dozen years,

- increase the safety of users (children, teenagers and adults),

- lower investment costs compared to building a new facility,

- improve the aesthetics and functionality of the public space,

- bring facilities up to current usability and technical standards.

SCOPE

WHAT DOES THE SCOPE OF OUR PROGRAM COVER?

ASSESSMENT OF THE FACILITY'S TECHNICAL CONDITION

REPAIR OF CRACKS AND CONCRETE CAVITIES

IMPROVEMENT OF GRIP AND USABILITY PARAMETERS

THE OPTION OF FUNCTIONAL MODERNISATION OF EXISTING ELEMENTS WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE

SOLUTIONS COMPLIANT WITH THE APPLICABLE SAFETY STANDARDS FOR SPORTS FACILITIES

Free technical skatepark audit

Request a free technical audit of your concrete skatepark

We will check the condition of the surface, expansion joints and obstacle structures. You will receive a professional technical assessment and specific recommendations for repairs and modernisation — with no obligation.

GUIDELINES

Don't waste public money on a non-functional facility

In response to the low awareness of the specifics of these facilities, together with the Skaters for Skaters Association we have prepared a comprehensive guide.

It is knowledge in a nutshell that every sports and investment department should have. What will you find inside? Concrete answers to difficult questions:

Why is it worth downloading this file?

Sports infrastructure must meet rigorous safety standards. This document is not just theory – it is a collection of good practices developed by experts and enthusiasts who use these facilities every day.

Concrete or wood? You will learn the pros and cons of both technologies and find out why monolithic concrete is the best choice for outdoor facilities, while wood works well in roofed ones.

How to avoid conflicts with residents? You will learn how to locate skateparks in line with noise standards and why it is worth keeping a 30-50 metre distance from buildings.

The “Design and Build” trap. We explain why we recommend separating the tender into design and construction, to avoid mistakes and quality compromises.

Budget under control. How to build a functional facility on a low budget? We advise why it is better to opt for a small but concrete plaza, rather than buying cheap, ready-made prefabricated units that quickly deteriorate.

The most common mistakes. See the list of cardinal sins of such investments – from poor obstacle angles to dangerous surfaces and drainage errors.

Renovation and maintenance. How to care for a facility so it serves for years? You will learn what concrete grinding involves and why it is crucial for safety.

As an official, you don't have to be a skateboarding expert, but you do need to know how to commission the design and construction, so that the facility is safe, durable and in line with users' needs.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We have gathered answers to the most common questions about designing and building wooden skateparks. If you are interested in the materials we use, the stages of a project, or the options for tailoring a structure to the users' skill level, you will find the essential information below. If you have further questions — feel free to get in touch with us directly.

Urban planning practice in European Union countries suggests keeping skateparks at a distance of about 30 - 50 m from residential developments. Bear in mind the permissible noise levels for residential zones and the need to account for nuisance to the surroundings.
